Veresen Contributes to Alberta Flood Relief Efforts

Veresen has donated $100,000 to support flood relief efforts as many continue to struggle with the aftermath of the flooding in Calgary and southern Alberta. The funds have been directed to The Calgary Foundation, an organization that is focused on supporting long-term community recovery efforts, and the Calgary Food Bank, who is assessing needs daily and then mobilizing to best meet the needs of Calgary and surrounding areas.

The generosity and spirit of cooperation with which Albertans have responded to this emergency has been inspiring. Many of our own staff have volunteered to assist friends, neighbours and strangers in need. This is an difficult time for our city and province and, as an infrastructure company, Veresen wants to support the continued efforts of relief organizations by directing funds to meet the long-term rebuilding efforts.
